I was born in Berlin in 1972. In my childhood I was, due to family reasons, traveling a lot in the world. Professionally, I took a commercial path before switching to the creative field and studying media design. Now I´m working as an actor and writer.

The book: Mind on Fire

A bipolar (manic depressive) life. A man full of emotions, sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll.
A Berlin rock band. Party drugs in the 90s. Long-term stays in China and the USA.
As a patient he reports about the conditions in psychiatric hospitals. He tells us about failed relationships and longings.

"I wanted to put on paper what would have helped myself to better understand the bipolar illness. Also, this reflection helps me process how I could have recognized these symptoms earlier and how they were affecing my emotions". I´m doing very good again the past 5 years, it helped me a lot to write about those terrible years. I don´t know exactly why, maybe it´s because the chemistry in the brain changes when you are getting older or maybe I just learned to know myself better. Or finally I don´t miss my ex-wife no more, this relationship was very difficult to handle.

With wry humor and clear language, the author knows how to entertain the reader. This is a trip you should take.

At the the moment I´m writing on the new book, a political thriller combined with a family roman and a poetry book. I´m also writing song lyrics from time to time.

Acting: Various formats on television

I´m acting on TV here and there. I was an actor at a theater in Berlin-Kreuzberg when I was younger. Now I´m trying to get back on stage and learning the job again in a modern way. I enjoy it a lot, cool job, interessting people.

What else ...

I love to cook. I like Sauna, skiing and swimming. I also like to sing but unfortunally I can´t play the guitar, I´d like to learn. I am still married to an american woman, but we have been living separately since 2005. I live in Kleinmachnow near Berlin, close to my dear family. I like to spend time with my mom, my sister and my two nephews. Occasionally I cook something for them. I like to go to the sauna at the sports club and watch football when Hertha BSC Berlin plays. I lived in China for about three years and in the U.S. for three years; in general, I traveled a lot around the world. When I have time, I spend the summer months on Naxos in Greece, my favorite place on earth. For many years I have been going camping there at the Maragas campground and meeting friends from all over the world.
